► Urgency: Timeframe, the best candidate is worthless if he/she will not interview or seriously consider a job offer. Working with a Focus Ahead Consultant is similar to choosing a dance partner, not a marriage. We do not expect to place any candidate frequently.

► Respect: There must be mutual respect between the candidate and the consultant. The consultant must be willing and able to market the candidate when suitable roles and target companies have been mutually identified. The candidate must trust the consultant to do this effectively on his/her behalf.

If you have been “working” with a great recruiter for 6 months, then trust us, it is not “working.”
