Conversely, the vast majority of traditional recruitment firms employee inexperienced individuals who although are intense and certainly eager professionals they have no employment experience outside of recruitment and certainly no direct hands on knowledge of the jobs they are trying to fill.

These recruitment firms see the best way of trying to fill a role by throwing as many CVs as possible at the hiring manager, in the hope that something may stick. A client sees this as a multitude of discarded CVs from unsuitable applicants.
